Pakeer Youth Association for Development (PYAD) in juba is a Community Based Organization for delivery of non-profits services to the youths of Pakeer.
The ceremony organized by community electoral committee formed by outgoing chairperson Mr Kuol Matiop, he served for five (5) years since 3rd Sept,2019. Kuol Matiop over stayed in leadership for three years because of many obstacles such as flood, COVID 19 and many other things which couldn’t bring people together. Mr Kuol delivered effective services to the community of Pakeer at large. Examples of services delivered to Pakeer youths for three years in power.
Kuol Matiop leadership facilitated Pakeer members from Maar to Mangella for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPS), used many boats for transportation.
Pakeer youth leadership under able leader Mr Kuol Matiop supported community on security issues.
Pakeer youth Association in juba sponsored twenty-four students to Promised land Secondary School and others to primary section, some were sponsored in Mangella.
Pakeer youth association supported Panda Pakeer sports team till when they won tournament of Jonglei payams and TEYA tournament too.
Mr Kuol Matiop leadership faced a lot of challenges and obstacles during his term for three years though they were all settled.

Outgoing chairperson Mr Kuol Matiop speeches revolved around the role of Pakeer youth members and community services, he appreciates his executives, electoral body and entire community sectional leaders of Pakeer, Mr Kuol Matiop highlighted the importance of Unity in Pakeer, unity contributing to the progress of the community and society as a whole. He talked about two people who motivated unity of Pakeer community such as Anyieth Mayen and the late Justice Majok Mading.
Mr Kuol Matiop formed Pakeer Youth Association for Development (PYAD) electoral committee in 2021. The committee includes;

Pakeer youth association for development electoral committee chairperson Mr Jok Dau Jok appreciates and thanks all Pakeer members and elders for their moral and financial support for this wonderful association to serve the community, he also urges the voters to respect themselves and Pakeer community, “let us obey election rule and regulations and vote wisely and tomorrow elections outcome will be for all of us.”
TEYA chairman Mr Arok Dut Arok speeches outlining future plans and community strategies for pan Pakeer, he appreciated the entire electoral body of Pakeer Youth Association for Development, he also urges outgoing chairperson to invite Pakeer six sectional leaders to attend this ceremony so that they witness this malaria sign, community issues need calmness and peaceful argument, Mr Arok Dut Arok advised Pakeer youths.
Eng. Hon Mayen Deng Alier introduced his colleague to give a speech and talk as invited guest from Jalle. Hon Akim said, as young parliamentarians of Jonglei, we attend these activities because we need change and empowerment of young people, let us exercise community leadership and remember community first.
Dr. Majak Agoot Atem speech emphasized the importance of youth leadership in driving positive change and creating better future of young generations, he was happy for youth invitation of their neighbors from Lakes State and particularly Ador Youth leader. I have no much to say today, I am waiting for your election’s outcome, he said. Also urged electoral body to caution aspirants and ban night campaign to avoid rumors and malicious talks.
Hon. Yar Telar Deng appreciates Twic East community particularly youths. Her speeches were likely aimed at inspiring and motivating the youths and encouraging the women to stand for their right. Let us be very serious and encourage one another for betterment of our societies and transforming them. Accountability and gossiping are affecting our community associations.

In conclusion, this general campaign served as a platform to instill leadership and provide a sense of direction to Pakeer Youth Association for Development. It showcased commitment by aspirants on what tangible development and empowerment of youths. The event was interesting and well organized.
The moderator Ustaz Manyok Elijah Dut asked vital questions such liberal, engaging Pakeer people particularly IDPS to return back home, unity of Pakeer and election outcome. Both aspirants dedicated to the progress of their community services.
Lastly; Mr. Majok Mayom won the elections with 306 votes and Mr. Sanuel Thuch Ajok with 169 votes in the position of Chairperson. Mr. Samuel Khot Bol for Deputy Chairperson and Mr. Garang Wer for General Secretary were unopposed and declared respectively.
