Twic East Youth Association (TEYA) is a Community-Based Organization (CBO) dedicated to empowering the youth and women of the Twic East community in Juba. Our mission is to foster personal and collective development through education, skills training, and community engagement.
We support academically gifted students who face financial hardships by providing educational sponsorships, enabling them to continue their studies and reach their full potential. In addition, we offer vocational training programs that equip youth with practical skills for employment and entrepreneurship.
TEYA also champions women's empowerment through targeted initiatives aimed at enhancing their economic independence and social participation, thereby contributing to a stronger and more resilient community.
TEYA focuses on innovative ideas of young people in the community and how best they can be supported so as to make impact in the community.
TEYA awards young people in many fields especially in sports through TEYA annual tournaments. It also awards influential personalities and inspiring skills.
TEYA has professional vocational trainers that train youth and women in their respective fields. These staffs are members of Twic East Commuinty who voluntarily do training.

As it was witnessed on Saturday of 24/02/2024, we have announced the first badge of TEYA Sponsorship that completed at Juba Multi-Service Training Center. These were 60 students who did their training in various fields and completed it within the duration of 3 months.
The leadership of TEYA, led by chairman Hon. Arok Dut Arok, consisted of the TEYA executives, Nyir Cit Arialbeek executives with their leader Hon. Adut Mamer Ayach, and other working commission committee members of TEYA.
